These Terms of Use (“Terms”) explain the rules that apply when you access or use the Epictalk mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using Epictalk, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should discontinue use of the application.
Epictalk is a mobile application that offers narrated audio stories about historical events, influential figures, and important periods in human history.
The content within the App is designed to provide an engaging listening experience that combines storytelling with immersive audio elements. The service is intended for personal learning, curiosity, and entertainment purposes.
By using Epictalk, you confirm that you are legally able to agree to these Terms and that you will use the App responsibly.
You agree not to:
use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
copy, distribute, or publicly share the audio content without permission
attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or access the source code of the App
interfere with the operation or security of the service
use automated tools or bots to interact with the application
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of access.
Epictalk grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App on compatible devices.
This license allows you to access and enjoy the content for personal and non-commercial use only.
You may not reproduce, resell, modify, distribute, or publicly perform any part of the App or its content without prior written permission.
All materials available through the App—including but not limited to audio narrations, scripts, sound design, graphics, branding, and software—are owned by Epictalk or its content partners and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to users.
Users may choose to provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions about features or content.
By submitting such feedback, you grant Epictalk permission to use, modify, or incorporate those ideas into the service without obligation or compensation.
Some parts of the Epictalk library may require a paid subscription to access.
All payments are processed through the platform from which the App was downloaded, such as the Apple App Store.
Subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled through the app store account settings before the renewal date.
Payment processing and refund decisions are handled by the respective app store provider according to their policies. Epictalk does not directly manage billing transactions.
We aim to keep Epictalk accessible and functioning smoothly. However, we do not guarantee that the App will always be available without interruption.
From time to time, updates, maintenance, or technical issues may temporarily affect access to certain features.
The stories and interpretations presented in Epictalk are intended to make history engaging and accessible. While efforts are made to base content on credible historical sources, some narratives may simplify or interpret historical events for storytelling purposes.
The App and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Epictalk shall not be responsible for:
indirect or incidental damages
loss of data or content
interruptions in service
dissatisfaction related to content interpretation
Your use of the App is at your own discretion.
Epictalk reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if a user violates these Terms or attempts to misuse the service.
Upon termination, the license to use the App will end and you must stop using the application.
These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the service, technology, or legal requirements.
When updates are made, the Last Updated date will be revised. Continued use of the App after such updates indicates acceptance of the new Terms.
